Abstract

For increased global recognition and “love brand” affinity, InPost, Poland’s leading logistics provider, designed a unique audio identity, as recognizable as its lockers opening. A holistic ecosystem that includes Audio Logo, Brand Music Core, consistent UI sounds and custom-made Instrument, delivers unified, emotionally engaging audio experience.

Description

InPost’s Audio Branding project leverages sound to amplify the brand’s emotional resonance and forge a seamless customer journey. Our analysis illuminated pivotal moments where audio elevates positive emotions (joy, engagement, “out-of-the-box”) and solidifies associations with InPost’s core archetypes: the free spirit, the friend, and the magician. A dedicated working group, comprising representatives from InPost and our audio branding agency, collaborated closely. We conducted workshops that were crucial in understanding the brand’s intrinsic character. This understanding formed the bedrock of our brand’s sonic strategy, which then guided several iterations of production work. Consistent sonic identity across all touchpoints (app, social media, TV/radio, IVR) enhances recognition and loyalty, bridging the digital and physical.

A key objective of this project was to bolster InPost’s brand recognition and strengthen its global presence across markets, while also enhancing non-visual brand awareness. The strategy employs audio branding to fortify InPost’s position as a love brand, translating core values into creative guidelines informed by brand archetypes and desired emotional responses. A unique element of the project involved the creation of a custom instrument constructed from actual InPost parcel locker compartments. The sounds produced by this instrument were meticulously recorded and subsequently integrated into the audio branding’s sonic assets, adding a distinctive and authentic layer to the brand’s auditory identity.

This innovative approach was applied alongside the adaptation of the digital whistling sound and the incorporation of live instruments and a vibrant rhythm for authenticity and friendliness. The aim is a memorable audio signature across all interactions. Throughout the crucial implementation phase, we provided continuous support and guidance to InPost.

Implementation seeks to significantly enhance brand recognition and deepen emotional connection, increasing loyalty and positive perception. This cohesive sonic code will differentiate InPost, making communication more memorable and powerfully conveying core values, potentially setting new benchmarks in logistics and supporting its global ambitions.
