Yiran Chen – Sound Designer/Sound Mixer/Audio Engineer
With extensive experience in the audio industry, Yiran Chen has established herself as a versatile and innovative sound designer and audio engineer. She holds a Master’s degree in Music Technology from New York University and a Bachelor’s degree in Media Arts Production (focused on Film Production and Sound Design) from Emerson College. Her portfolio spans a wide range of sound and music production projects, including production sound mixing and audio post-production for films, as well as sound design for theater, games, and VR, and music recording and production. Her film work covers diverse genres and styles, from the narrative feature American Byproducts and the sci-fi short DeepBlue to the Korean documentary Safari. Some of her works have been showcased at prestigious film festivals, including Academy Award-qualifying festivals such as the Austin Film Festival, Flickers’ Rhode Island International Film Festival, and the New Hampshire Film Festival.
