Abstract
eBilet: Sonic Gateway is a scalable audio branding system transforming ticket scanners into branded emotional entry points for live entertainment. By integrating its sonic identity directly into real event infrastructure, the project connects UX sound design, movement, anticipation and audience behavior into one coherent sonic ecosystem.
Description
eBilet: Sonic Gateway redefined how sound functions within the live-event customer journey. Created for Poland’s largest ticketing platform, the project introduced a scalable sonic identity system designed to connect digital interactions with real-world entertainment experiences. Instead of treating audio branding as a decorative communication layer, the system was built as functional infrastructure integrated directly into audience behavior and live-event environments.
At the center of the project is a distinctive three-note Audio DNA (G-C-D), rhythmically inspired by the syllables “e-Bi-let”. The motif became the foundation for the entire sonic ecosystem including UX sounds, scanner interactions, social media, mobile applications, radio campaigns and future live activations. The project focused on one overlooked but emotionally critical moment: ticket validation. During strategic workshops, Soundize Audio Branding agency identified the scanner interaction as the psychological transition point between anticipation and participation – the exact second when a customer enters the experience physically and emotionally.
To strengthen this moment, the sonic identity was implemented directly into real event scanners used during concerts, festivals and cultural events. The result transformed a generic technical confirmation sound into a recognizable branded interaction embedded inside the live-event environment itself. The sonic logo combines two complementary layers. The first uses scanner-inspired electronic pulses referencing technology, precision and movement. The second introduces melodic vocal-like tones inspired by playful human humming, creating emotional warmth and memorability.
The entire system was composed around energetic electronic textures and designed at 126 BPM to support excitement, movement and anticipation associated with live entertainment. The scanner sounds were additionally developed with recognizability in mind for crowded event conditions, helping visitors intuitively locate entry points within noisy spaces. Rather than functioning as a static logo, the project established a living sonic framework capable of evolving across future entertainment formats, audience experiences and brand communication channels.
