Kris Gorski is a Polish musician, composer, sound engineer, and educator. He studied audio engineering at the SAE Institute in Paris and spent over a decade living and working in the French capital.
Over the course of his career, Kris has engineered more than 150 albums for other artists, while also composing and performing his own music. His work spans a variety of styles, including neo-classical compositions, film scores, and collaborative projects. A recent example is Impromptu Session 1, recorded with guitarist Piotr Krępeć.
Kris has contributed to over 30 film and television projects in roles such as composer, music producer, arranger, sound engineer, and performer. His credits include the TV series Archiwista (2020, 2022–2023), where he composed the music for both seasons, and Leśniczówka (2017–2024), where he provided music, musical consultation, and performed keyboard parts. His film work includes the upcoming feature Misie (2025), where he served as composer, co-producer, recording and mixing engineer. Other notable projects include television films like Konopacka. Walka o Złoto (2023), W Szachu. Ostatnia Rozgrywka (2023), and Marusarz. Tatrzański Orzeł (2021), as well as contributions to documentaries and animated series such as Rodzina Treflików and Bobaski i Miś.
He is the co-founder of APS, a company that develops tools for audio professionals, and runs AudioPlanet, his own production studio. AudioPlanet is a residential recording studio located in the Kaszuby region of Poland. It offers high-end equipment, a variety of acoustic keyboard instruments, and a tranquil environment conducive to creativity. The studio provides services such as recording sessions, production workshops, and coaching consultations. Notable clients include artists like Fabienne Thibeault, Mietek Szcześniak, Agnieszka Kiepuszewska among many others, as well as organisations like Sony Music France and TVP1, Polsat, R’n’R Production and many others.
In addition to his studio work, Kris is involved in music education. He has served as a judge for the Audio Engineering Society’s Student Recording Competitions, providing feedback to emerging audio engineers. He also works with the Talent Is Timeless initiative, producing tracks for competition winners and leading production retreats in Poland to help songwriters develop their recording skills.
