André Klar works as a freelance re-recording mixer and sound designer for cinema, TV, and documentary films. He is the founder of Soundscape Studios Leipzig, which specializes in film sound mixing, Dolby Atmos productions, Foley, and sound design.
In addition to his work in the studio, he is a member of the board of the Berufsvereinigung Filmton e.V. (bvft) and head of the film and television department at the Verband Deutscher Tonmeister e.V. (VDT). He is also active as a freelance lecturer in the field of film sound design.
